Annie and Neil were thinking they wanted to do something that was a little bit out of the ordinary. Not the traditional couples session, but something that represented who they were. They thought to do an intimate couples session at the Aquinnah Lighthouse since that is the place were they had gotten engaged 10 years before. In addition to this, the last time they had had photos taken of them was since they got married 10 years ago. So in the beginning there was a little bit of nervousness and shyness, but soon that was replaced with creativity, comfortness and a showing of love between them that was very beautiful to see. For the couple’s shoot they brought their kite with them, which is the same kite they had when they got engaged. They were hoping to use it in some kind of form for the shoot, but were not exactly sure how. So we played around with ideas and compositions and it all became very magical and fun.
