The day started out with some rain. For a minute, people were contemplating changing the location of the elopement from this beautiful beach at Lucy Vincent to an indoor location. In the end, an hour before the elopement was scheduled to begin, the sun came out, the clouds more or less faded and it became a beautiful evening. This has mostly been my experience when photographing weddings or elopements on Martha’s Vineyard. One way or another, the weather ends up collaborating to make it a fantastic day. Even if it’s very last minute at times.
