I don’t know if the “perfect couple” really exists. In a way, I feel that every couple has their own unique connection. Some are quiet and shy, while others might be expressive and playful. There is no right or wrong, I feel that what is most important, is for a couple to be as they truly are and that will transmit in whatever they do. With this in mind, Eliza, Jonathan and I went on a journey to explore their fun and authentic connection during their engagement session in West Tisbury, Martha’s Vineyard.
From the beginning, our thoughts were to break away from traditional poses and instead focus on creativity and genuine emotions. The goal was to have fun and to create images that truly represented who they were as a couple.
Many of us often think that an engagement session has to look a particular way. They don’t! They can be as simple as looking into each other’s eyes or as wild as jumping, laughing and rolling around on the ground or a mix of it all. What’s most important is to capture the real, authentic and beautiful connection you have as a couple. So let’s explore what that looks like!
Remember, it’s not just about the perfect images. It’s also having fun, being yourself, and genuinely enjoying the experience.
