Like many other elopements during the pandemic, Carla and Christian (The C’s) had to adapt their elopement to the then current (it’s kind of nice to be able to start thinking of the pandemic in past tense right?) restrictions. Originally, it was intended to be a little larger, maybe more wedding like, but in the end they opted to have a small and intimate elopement. The ceremony took place at the Ag Hall in West Tisbury, and then we transitioned to Menemsha for a fall outdoor cookout celebration at the beach.
In our chats leading to the Elopement, they had mentioned that they were looking for a very unobtrusive kind of photography, something in which they could relax and not worry about having to pose and smile everytime the camera was around. So that’s the approach I took. Here is a little sample of how it all turned out.
