Something I love about weddings is capturing the emotions happening all around. For Andreia and Dario’s Wedding in Chilmark, Martha’s Vineyard, this was no exception. Throughout the whole day, everywhere I looked there was an emotion happening. Whether it was family celebrating being together or their son feeling frustrated because he didn’t want to get ready, it all added to a unique and amazing day. In addition to this, having the wedding be on Labor Day weekend helped to give it that beautiful September light found here on the Vineyard.
Starting with our earlier conversations, Andreia and Dario had expressed to me what they wanted to see in their photos: emotions, laughter, and the real moments making up their wedding day. With such an amazing community of family and friends, this became a real pleasure to do. As a photographer whenever I’m documenting weddings or families, my ultimate goal is to create images that reflect the true essence of a moment and transport people back to that special time. This wedding allowed me to do just that – to capture the raw, real, and unadulterated moments that tell a unique wedding story.
